I am a PhD student in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh, where I work in the Gau Lab on mitochondrial transplant in kidney disease and cancer, and on organ-on-chip platforms. My research focuses on building physiologically relevant disease models and translational technologies for cancer research and kidney disease.
Before starting my PhD, I was a Research Associate at Harvard University's Zhang Lab developing tissue-engineered blood vessels and at Cornell University's Antaki Lab, where I led medical device development for a breast cancer diagnostic device.
Outside the lab, I am passionate about health equity and accessibility.
